Introduction
My process is driven by research with a commitment to practice, that is, making things happen.
I love speaking with people, exploring conceptual frameworks and methods, deconstructing complex concepts and data, and finding ways to translate these into lucid insights and compelling narratives.
Approach
Drawing on my background in cultural trend research, critical writing, and behavioural analysis, I dive deep into a subject.
In tandem, I consider the context the research will be presented to find the most effective means to present the research.
This can be within a beautifully designed in-depth report, a printed object such as a book or pamphlet, a series of interviews, a lucid strategy document, an audio piece, interactive stories, films or images, an event or conference, exhibitions, or even building props.
FYI many years ago I used to build very involved and bizarre objects - such as pig pens or papier mache seals - that were shipped all around the world for PETA to use in their demos.
